28 Aug 2018 – Sally
didn’t fall asleep for a long time last night, and we also had to set our
clocks ahead by one hour. Therefore, we
waited as long as possible (10:00 AM) to go to breakfast, where we stuffed
ourselves. Then we returned to the
cabin, and Sally slept more. (And people
ask: Why do we like cruises?)
It was very foggy this morning and we
couldn’t see anything from our balcony but fog.
Although we probably sailed through the Inner Passage during this time,
we couldn’t see any land at all. (Sally
was glad we had seen it ten years earlier because it had been so beautiful.)
In the late afternoon we started packing before meeting Val and Ed for
dinner. After we danced to the band in
the Explorers’ Lounge for about one-half hour, they were taking a break and we
returned to our cabin to finish packing.
We put our large suitcases outside the door for pickup before we went to
bed.
